(Redding, CA) — Thousands of firefighters are trying to contain a deadly wildfire raging in Northern California. The Carr Fire has forced thousands of people out of their homes near Redding, California. The wildfire has burned over 48-thousand acres and is only three-percent contained. Mandatory evacuation orders are in place for nearly 40-thousand people. Strong winds and hot, dry weather are hampering the firefighting efforts.
