(Washington, DC) — A California produce company is being linked to the tainted salad mixes that caused at least 286 McDonald’s customers to become sick. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Salinas-based Fresh Express was the supplier of the bagged saladstainted with cyclospora parasites. The fast food company had to halt all salad sales at three-thousand franchises as a precaution because of the multistate outbreak.
