(Ann Arbor, MI) — Over 40-percent of parents think their teen is having trouble sleeping, and most of them blame technology. A study out of the University of Michigan shows that 56-percent of parents say their teen is having trouble sleeping because they won’t get off their phone, social media, or electronics in general. More than 40 percent blamed their student’s homework or activities. The parents said they’ve tried a variety of methods to get their teen to grab more shuteye. The most common of them was cutting caffeine in the evening. Not having enough sleep can lead to serious health problems, as well as an increased risk while they’re behind the wheel of a car.
