(Los Angeles, CA) — Theodor Seuss Geisel has dethroned Freddie Mercury in this week’s box office race. Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch is this week’s top movie — earning 66-million-dollars in its first weekend in North America’s theaters. Last week’s top picture Bohemian Rhapsody came in second with 30-million-bucks. Coming in third is Overlord, which earned ten-million-dollars in the U.S. and Canada. Rounding out this week’s Top Five are Disney’s Nutcracker and the Four Realms and The Girl in the Spider’s Web. A Star Is Born is hanging in there in sixth place.
