(New York, NY) — Legendary screenwriter William Goldman is dead at the age of 87. The Oscar-winning writer, who penned “All The President’s Men,” “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” and other blockbusters died Thursday night at his Manhattan home. Reports say he was battling colon cancer and pneumonia and had been ill for some time. Goldman began his career as a novelist before writing his first movie script in the 1960s.
