(Cupertino, CA) — Charlie Brown, Linus, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang are heading to Apple. The “Los Angeles Times” says DHX Media will develop exclusive “Peanuts” programming for the Cupertino tech giant — including original series, specials and short subjects. DHX is a global children’s content company that partly owns the rights to the beloved comic strip characters. Sony Music Entertainment and the family of Peanuts creator and illustrator Charles M. Schulz own the other parts. There’s no word on when the original content will make its debut.
