GA State Senate Told To Self-Isolate After Coronavirus Exposure
(Atlanta, GA) — The Georgia state Senate is being told to self-isolate after a lawmaker with the coronavirus showed up to vote. State senator Brandon Beach said he got a cough and a fever last week and was tested for the virus on Saturday. Beach said he attended a special session at the State Capitol on Monday, before finding out Wednesday that he had tested positive for the coronavirus. So now, all 236 lawmakers and staff at the Capitol have reportedly been told to self-isolate for 14 days.
