4K Coronavirus Cases In NYC: Mayor Calls For Military
(New York, NY) — There are now about four-thousand confirmed coronavirus cases in New York City. That’s the word from the mayor who appeared on MSNBC this morning. There are 26 coronavirus related deaths in the Big Apple. Mayor Bill de Blasio is once again calling on Governor Cuomo to consider a shelter in place plan for the city to try and slow the spread of coronavirus. He also says the federal government should send members of the military to the streets of New York to help. The mayor is once again emphasizing that hospitals may run out of supplies in a few weeks and wants the federal government to help with hospital equipment.
