Trump Admin Places Restrictions On Travel Between U.S., Mexico
(Washington, DC) — The Trump administration is placing restrictions on travel between the U.S. and Mexico. At the White House, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called it a mutual agreement with Mexico. The move is being made in response to growing concerns about the coronavirus crisis. It is similar to restrictions imposed on the northern border with Canada this week. That involves all nonessential traffic. Vehicles involved in trade are excluded from the new restrictions on cross-border traffic.
