University Of Illinois Announces Academic Policy Changes
(Champaign, IL) — The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is announcing modifications to its academic policies for this semester in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The changes follow the U of I’s decision to suspend face-to-face instruction this week. Students are being given the option to receive credit or no credit instead of regular grades. Instructors will also have the option of making their courses pass-fail if the transition to online learning proves particularly difficult. Several programs are excluded from the modifications, including the College of Law and College of Medicine.
