This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Illinois, east central Illinois and southeast Illinois including Christian-Clark-Coles-Cumberland-Douglas-Edgar-Effingham-Moultrie and Shelby counties
DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT… An isolated storm or two is possible through the first half of the day, then scattered storms are possible this evening and tonight, some of which could be severe. The primary concern is for large hail, but an isolated damaging wind gust is also possible.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY… There is a higher potential for severe storms Saturday, mainly through the afternoon and evening. Damaging winds and large hail are the primary concerns, but an isolated tornado is also possible.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT… Spotter activation is possible this evening and tonight.
