Deadline To Get Real ID Pushed Back In Illinois

(Springfield, IL) — The deadline to get a REAL ID in Illinois is being pushed back. Officials announced yesterday that the new deadline will be October 1st, 2021. The move was made at the direction of the Department of Homeland Security, which cited the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
