Dr. Fauci Issues Warnings About Next COVID-19 Hotspot
(Bethesda, MD) — A top health official is warning about the next coronavirus hotspot and the opportunity for places without many cases. On CNN’s State of the Union, Dr. Anthony Fauci warned that places like Detroit are the next hotspot for the virus like New York is right now. The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases added “there’s a window of opportunity” for places that don’t have as many cases. Fauci also addressed the question of reopening the country. The 15-day plan designed to slow the spread of the virus ends early this week and Fauci said the date will be pushed forward if need be.
