Louisiana Gov On Staffer’s Death, COVID-19 Crisis In His State
(Baton Rouge, LA) — The coronavirus pandemic has hit home for Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards. On NBC’s Meet The Press, Edwards talked about losing one of his staffers April Dunn to the virus. He praised Dunn as a “tremendous asset to Louisiana.” Edwards also addressed the growing crisis in his state and said ventilators are the “pressing issue.” The governor explained the virus isn’t just a problem in the New Orleans area, but it’s a very serious issue statewide.
