Emergency Ventilator Prototype Built By U Of I

(Springfield, IL) — The University of Illinois College of Engineering is announcing it has created a prototype for a new emergency ventilator. Professor Bill King says the device is simple and could be quickly deployed where hospital ventilators are not available. The breakthrough device was created in a few weeks by a team of 40 University of Illinois professors, medical professionals, and physicians from Carle Hospital.
