Most Calls To Indiana’s Coronavirus Tipline Aren’t Stay At Home Violations
(Indianapolis, IN) — Most of the cases where state investigators have been called over a Stay-at-Home violation turned out to be nothing. Indiana’s COVID-19 Joint Information Center released its numbers on Friday. Investigators have taken one-thousand-63 calls about possible violations, but said that 892 of them were unfounded. That’s about 83 percent of the calls. The Information Center said investigators have issued 55 warnings to people or businesses. They have not issued any tickets.
