(Chicago, IL) — Tribune Publishing is making cuts due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Chicago-based newspaper chain announced company wide furloughs yesterday due to declining advertising revenue. The three-week furloughs will be for non-union employees making between 40-thousand and 67-thousand-dollars per year. Employees will continue to receive health benefits but no salary during the weeks they are on furlough.
