In-Person Graduations Canceled Across State, Executive Order Extended
(Springfield, IL) — State education officials are prohibiting any kind of end of the year graduation ceremonies. The move comes as Governor J.B. Pritzker has extended his stay-at-home order through the end of May. The policy includes drive-through graduation ceremonies and small group in-person commencement exercises. Officials did not rule out the possibility of ceremonies being held later in the year.
