Two are hospitalized and in serious condition following a motorcycle/vehicle crash in Douglas County Friday, May 22nd. According to Illinois State Police Nathan Hershberger was stopped at a stop sign along US Route 36 at 610 East Road in Tuscola, when a Motorcycle driven by Charles Rinker struck the rear end of his vehicle for an unknown reason. Rinker and passenger Darlene Rinker were both transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Rinker has been issued a citation for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
