The Indiana State Fair has been cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The state fair officials announced on Thursday that after months of working through options to be able to hold the fair, and with partners and vendors pivoting off, they reached the decision to cancel the traditional fair this year. This is not the first year the fair has been cancelled, an event that last year brought in over 870,000 visitors.
The fair officials are working on a modified State Fair 4-H Livestock Show that would take place in August at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
