Illinois Health Officials Report Nine New COVID-19 Deaths
(Springfield, IL) — Illinois health officials are reporting nine new COVID-19-related deaths. Officials announced the deaths yesterday of a woman in Cook County, three women in DuPage County, one woman each in Fayette, McLean, Tazewell and Will counties, as well as a man in Warren County. There were over 27-hundred new cases of the virus reported yesterday, bringing the state total to more than 319-thousand. Nearly nine-thousand people in Illinois have died of COVID-19-related causes since the pandemic began.
