Pritzker Encourages Census Response As Deadline Arrives Today

(Chicago, IL) — The deadline to respond to the 2020 Census is today, and Governor J.B. Pritzker is encouraging anyone who hasn’t completed the process to make it a priority. A recent Supreme Court decision set the deadline for today, and Pritzker said yesterday that he wants everyone in Illinois counted. Funding for many federal programs, as well as allocation of seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, is based on Census data.
