Election Day in Illinois is now a state holiday. Hopefully, this gives you more time to vote and to volunteer as an election judge. Students are also welcome to learn firsthand how an election is conducted. To be a judge, you must be a citizen of the United States and a registered voter in your county, unless you are a 16 or 17 year old student.
