A woman was killed in a head-on collision this afternoon near Clay City. According to the Illinois State Police, 35-year-old Jennifer Joyce Black was westbound on Route 50 when, for unknown reasons, she traveled into the path of a tractor-trailer driven by 64-year-old Gary Mugrage, of Cisne. Black succumbed to hear injuries sustained from the crash.
