Biden “Honored And Humbled” By Projected Win In Presidential Race
(Wilmington, DE) — Projected President-elect Joe Biden calls himself “honored and humbled” by his victory in the hotly-contested presidential election. Biden said — “In the face of unprecedented obstacles, a record number of Americans voted; proving once again that democracy beats deep in the heart of America.” Biden stressed that it is time to “put the anger and the harsh rhetoric behind us and come together as a nation.” The former VP said it is time for the nation to unite and heal.
President-elect Joe Biden is set to address the nation in prime time tonight. Biden will take the stage in his home state of Delaware alongside running mate Kamala Harris at eight p.m. Eastern.
