Pritzker, Staff Test Negative For COVID-19 After Exposure
(Chicago, IL) — Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker and his staff have all tested negative for COVID-19 after being exposed to someone who has tested positive for the virus. Officials say the exposure happened during a meeting last Monday. Pritzker and his staff tested negative during their weekly test on Wednesday and again Friday afternoon. After initially going into isolation, the governor has resumed his normal schedule. CDC guidelines do not require the governor and staff to quarantine for 14 days because they are not considered close contacts.
