(Washington, DC) — The House has passed a new coronavirus relief package. The 900-billion-dollar measure was part of an over two-trillion-dollar spending bill that the chamber passed tonight. The bipartisan measure now goes to the Senate, where it’s expected to pass. The bill includes 600-dollar stimulus checks for Americans, as well as extended unemployment benefits. Those checks could be sent out as early as next week.
