A Louisville man was arrested last night on multiple charges following a home invasion in Effingham. 31-year-old Dylan Hampton reportedly entered a garage at a residence on Hendelmeyer Avenue, not knowing that the resident was home. The homeowner confronted Hampton and sustained minor injuries. Hampton fled the scene, but was later apprehended. He’s charged with home invasion, aggravated battery and possession of a controlled substance.
