One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash yesterday, January 5, 2021, in Effingham County. According to the Illinois State Police, a car driven by 18-year-0ld Damon McLendon, of O’Fallon, Illinois, was eastbound on I-70 when a blown tire caused him to lose control and spin into the path of a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Andrew Meyers, of Altamont. Meyers was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
