Two Charleston men face multiple charges after being arrested Saturday, February 6, 2021. According to the Charleston Police Department, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 2100 block of 11th Street at 3:51 a.m. Upon arrival, it was determined no one had been injured, but at least one person had fired shots inside and outside the residence. While investigating the shooting incident, officers found ¼ pound of psilocybin mushrooms, over 10 pounds of cannabis, and firearms alleged to belong to Dameon Cooks and Daryl Jackson. Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, and possession of a firearm without a FOID card.
