Mattoon City Council Meeting Tuesday, February 16, 2021

The Mattoon City Council will consider appointing Ryan Hurst as deputy chief of the Mattoon Police Department at its meeting tonight, Tuesday, February 16, 2021.  Additionally, the council will consider the promotion of Lieutenant Jeff Wines to captain due to the retirement of Tim St. John; Ryan Koop to lieutenant, and Michael Johnson to sergeant.  Other items on the agenda are phase one of the piping connection project for the new sewer overflow satellite facility on North 6^th Street; and appropriation of motor fuel tax funds for a road surface overlay project on DeWitt Avenue.  The council will meet at 6:30 tonight.
