City of Sullivan Mourning Loss of First K9

The City of Sullivan (IL) is mourning the loss of its first K9 unit.  Just after starting his first week of training, Renzo showed signs of distress.  And after being examined by two veterinarians, it was determined that he had an undiagnosed pre-existing condition.  Renzo went into cardiac arrest and died on Sunday, February 21, 2021.  A necropsy will be performed to determine the actual cause of death.
