Madigan Successor Resigns On Third Day In Office
(Chicago, IL) — Former state Representative Mike Madigan’s hand-picked successor is officially out after only three days in office. Representative Edward Guerra Kodatt’s resignation email was received yesterday morning by the House Clerk. Madigan and 13th Ward Alderman Marty Quinn allege that Kodatt was involved in questionable conduct, though no details have been given. The Democratic Party of Illinois has a full 30 days to appoint a replacement.
