A suspect has been charged in the shooting of a teenager in Pana. 21-year-old Jacob Mariacher, who was taken into custody after the shooting, is charged with one count each of aggravated battery, aggravated discharge of a firearm, and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. He’s being held without bond in the Christian County Jail. The victim remains hospitalized.
