A Robinson woman suffered non-life threatening injuries in a crash last night, Wednesday, March 17, 2021, in Effingham. According to the Illinois State Police, Mark Meylor, of Effingham, and Steven Durbin, from St. Elmo were stopped in traffic on Route 33 due to a previous crash and lane closure when Taylor Newlin failed to slow down and sideswiped Meylor’s truck before rear-ending Durbin’s pickup. Newlin was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
