The next special exhibit at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum will be “The State of Sound: A World of Music from Illinois.” One-of-a-kind artifacts that can be seen include: Benny Goodman’s clarinet, Howlin’ Wolf’s harmonica, John Prine’s stage props, Dan Fogelberg’s guitar, and a stage costume from Earth, Wind and Fire. It’ll also feature historical pieces about Alison Krauss, Sam Cooke, Miles Davis, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick. The State of Sound opens April 30th.
