Two teens have been arrested and two others are being sought in connection with an incident of mob action, aggravated battery and armed robbery that occurred on April 13th in Charleston. Officers arrived at Easy Wash Laundromat just before 11:00 that night and spoke with the victim of a reported battery. Video surveillance footage proved the victim’s claims of being beaten with an aluminum bat by one of the teens and being kicked and stomped on by three others. The suspects also removed the victim’s shoes and took his backpack before fleeing the scene. 18-year-old Nocona Noseworthy, and a 17-year-old from Mattoon were taken into custody. Arrest warrants were obtained for Amaru Evans and Breya Barry, both 18. They remain at large.
