The grand opening of the Whiteside Garden will be May 1st from 10:00 a.m. ‘til 2:00 p.m. Guided tours will be available at 10:00, 11:00, noon, and 1:00, or you can choose self-guided. The day will also include live music, May Day basket raffle, garden gift shop, light refreshments, and activities for the kids, including make-and-take crafts and scavenger hunt. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Whiteside Garden is just a couple minutes east of Charleston on Route 16.
