The Lake Shelbyville Kids’ Fishing Derby will be held June 5th at Opossum Creek. Check-in will be at 8:30 a.m. for kids 6 and under and 9:30 for 7 to 12-year-olds. Young anglers will need to bring their own fishing equipment and bait, and must wear a life jacket. To register, email lakeshelbyville@usace.army.mil or call 217-774-3951 extension 7004.
