Peloton Agrees To Total Treadmill Recall Following Child’s Death
(New York, NY) — Peloton is agreeing to recall all of its treadmills following the death of a six-year-old. It’s voluntary recall, announced jointly with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, that involves Peloton Tread + Tread treadmills. The CPSC said it had gotten more than 70 reports of people, pets or objects “being pulled under the rear of the treadmill,” including broken bone injuries in children. The company is telling customers to stop using its treadmills and offering refunds.
