Teens Face Charges After Crashing Stolen Vehicle Into Squad Car
(Germantown Hills, IL) — Two teens are facing charges after crashing a stolen vehicle into a deputy’s squad car. Authorities say a deputy in Woodford County attempted to pull over a vehicle over the weekend that had been identified as stolen, when the vehicle’s driver took off. The deputy followed the vehicle down a dead-end road when the vehicle turned around and crashed into the squad car. The suspected 14-year-old driver ran from the scene, but was taken into custody a short distance away. A female 14-year-old passenger was taken into custody at the crash site.
