According to officials at Coles-Moultrie Electric Cooperative, two members received phone calls this week with the caller informing them they did not pay their bill. Each says they were threatened with disconnection in 30-45 minutes. This IS a scam. If you receive a similar call, hang up and call CMEC at 1-888-661-2632.
