The Mattoon Rotary Club is collecting cleaning supplies and cash donations to help the folks in Gibson City, who were devastated by flooding. Items needed are: Brooms, mops, box fans, work gloves and rubber gloves, squeegees, dehumidifiers, shop vacs, flat shovels, and miscellaneous cleaning supplies. Please drop off at Slumberland in Mattoon. Items collected through this Saturday (8/21) will be delivered Sunday or Monday. If you’re unable to drop off, please call Mike to arrange pick up at 217-259-3120.
