Rolling Stones Drummer Charlie Watts Dies

(London) — Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts has died. In a statement, his publicist said “It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Charlie Watts.” He was 80-years-old and recently pulled out of the Rolling Stones tour due to health reasons. Bandmates Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood gave supportive messages to Watts following the announcement. The drummer joined the band in 1963.
