Woman Accused In Crash That Killed U Of I Lieutenant Arraigned
(Champaign, IL) — The woman involved in a crash that killed a University of Illinois Police lieutenant has been officially charged. Logan Freed was arraigned yesterday on two counts of aggravated driving under the influence. Champaign Police say the 25-year-old disobeyed a traffic light Sunday night on Church Street and collided with another vehicle. That vehicle hit a motorcycle driven by U of I Police Lieutenant Aaron Landers, who died Monday from his injuries.
