Champaign First Grader Dropped Off In Wrong Neighborhood
(Champaign, IL) — The Champaign School District is citing a bus driver shortage and is promising an internal investigation after a first-grader was dropped off in the wrong neighborhood yesterday afternoon. A woman found the girl, who was about three miles from her home. The woman is not sure how long the girl had been walking when she was found. The first-grader was safely reunited with her family.
