The Charleston Fire Department will celebrate Fire Prevention Week with an open house at Fire Station #2 on October 9th from 10:00am to 2:00pm. They’ll have technical rescue, vehicle extrication, in-home safety, and Charleston Police K9 demonstrations, plus tours of fire vehicles, ambulances and the station, the junior firefighters obstacle course, bounce houses, free fire prevention month materials and free hot dogs and slushies.
