Decatur Shooting Leaves One Dead, One Injured

(Decatur, IL) — One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting in Decatur. The shooting happened early yesterday morning in the 13-hundred-block of East Walnut Street. A 17-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were found in a parked car with gunshot wounds to the head. The victims were taken to the hospital where the girl later died. The boy’s injuries are considered life-threatening.
