IL Woman Accused Of Fatally Shooting Man Who Refused To Kiss Her
(Rolling Meadows, IL) — A man is dead after a bizarre love triangle dispute in Illinois ended in gunfire over a kiss. The Chicago Sun-Times reports Claudia Resendiz-Florez was staying with the man, James Jones, and his girlfriend in their Rolling Meadows home until this past Thursday. Allegedly, that evening over drinks, Resendiz-Florez asked Jones for a kiss, which he declined saying he had a girlfriend who was sitting right next to him. After proceeding to be rejected a couple more times by both Jones and his girlfriend, Resendiz-Florez grabbed Jones’ gun and shot him dead in the chest. Resendiz-Florez has since been charged with first degree murder and is due in court on tomorrow.
