UAW Members Now Getting Strike Pay
(Moline, IL) — John Deere workers who are on strike in Iowa, Illinois, and Kansas are now getting strike pay. The United Auto Workers union says members will be paid 55 dollars a day Monday through Friday as long as they fulfill their picket line duty. Picketers will also get a bonus check the week before Thanksgiving and Christmas if the strike lasts that long.
